Q: How long does it take to set-up?

A: It only takes minutes. We drop a simple JavaScript onto your site and take it from there.

Q: Is it a drain on our technical resources?

A: No! Little to no client side support is needed.

Q: What's involved in a free trial?

A: It’s a simple 4 step process:

  1. Youneeq installs JavaScript onto the web properties.
  2. We analyze data and behaviours.
  3. We supply dashboard and needs analysis.
  4. You decide if you want to grow or not.
Q: How will Youneeq help me?

A: Once Youneeq is installed, Youneeq begins compiling data and analyzing behavior. The Youneeq dashboard provides data driven insight into user behavior and the content driving site users to engage.

Q: What kind of content can be recommended?

A: All content including the content delivered to web pages such as static documents PDFs, spreadsheets, videos’s, sponsored content, audio, products, merchandise, images, site sections, forms, site interactions, etc. Youneeq can direct any content on the site to an individual based upon their behaviors. Every user see’s different content and no two users see the exact same page. Creating a true one to one experience with every site visitor.

Q: How would the customer use the data?

A: Almost immediately Youneeq has enough data to begin drawing inferences about the specific behaviors engaging users and driving your site objectives. Stated another way, Yq begins to develop an understanding of the common behaviours that lead a user to respond in a desired manner based on your objectives. For instance, if you are running a digital campaign designed to generate leads and encourage site users to fill out a contact form, Youneeq will develop an understanding of the user behaviors resulting in this specific successful user site interaction. This includes navigation, content consumption, time of day, user activity prior to a successful interaction, etc. This process is highly automated requiring no “system adjustment or tweaking” on the part of the company. This ensures site interactions  are delivered in the most efficient manner to ensure success.

Shopify App FAQ

Q: Can you explain your billing model? How much am I going to get charged?

A: We use a 30 day billing cycle, similar to Shopify. Your first 30 days are guaranteed free as part of our free trial. After that we charge you a 2% commission on all sales made through the YQ panel, but only if we made you more than $250 during that 30 day cycle. If we make you more than $250 during one cycle and less than $250 during the next cycle you won’t be charged for the 2nd one. Effectively this means your bill will be either $0 or $5 and up (2% of $250 is $5). You can check the in-app Dashboard to see how much we’ve made you so far this month and what your current bill is. We recommend keeping a close eye on this during your free trial so you have a good idea what your first bill will be like. We’ll send you an email at the end of your free trial with a breakdown of what your bill would have been.

Q: I’ve changed my shop theme, how do I update the way my recommendations look?

A: Go back to the recommendation settings page in the app. It will detect that you’ve changed your theme and will prompt you asking if you’d like to update the styles.

Q: I messed up my recommendations settings, what should I do?

A: Try resetting them to default. We know it can wipe some of your settings you might like to keep but it should clear up any breaking changes. If this isn’t an option disable recommendations on your site and then contact us at support@youneeq.ca

Q: What does the Cross Sell feature do?

A: This option gives items linked using the Cross Sell feature a significantly higher priority in our recommendation engine. Use this if you want to make manual associations between products, e.g. linking a specific set of earrings to a matching necklace. This will only take effect while using the “Standard” recommendation variant.
